better late than never! finally after almost 7 years from the original release date, radikal guru’s debut album the rootstepa has been pressed to wax for the first time. the double 180g lp version in a gatefold sleeve will be available from june the 15th via all usual outlets. the lp contains 12 original tracks featuring such vocalists as: cian finn, brother culture and mokey jhayam.

finally we can share the good news with you. portland’s alter echo & e3 duo are returning to moonshine recordings with another smashing release entitled “secrets”. backed by von d’s spring dub remix on the flipside.

it’s been a long wait but finally the cat is out of the bag. two tracks from radikal guru’s 2016 album “dub mentalist” received heavy remix treatment from some of the most talented producers on the scene - dj madd and sekkleman.

phuture-t dials up dub and drumfunk from the samples of greenleaf’s new orleans influenced track, forward motion. the beats are more broken and the effect delays are longer. the signature interview recording has been chopped and used as downbeats on the progression changes.
with melodic and rolling percussion, earl grey creates a cheerful vibe to start the ominous maze remix. the intro leads straight into the body of the track when the contrabass becomes the dominant instrument making the tone tougher. the drum breaks transition through several change ups and syncopated edits.
metro gives mhc a new treatment with extra field recordings and an extended break down. the jungle influence is stronger with bigger, funkier subs. classic break beats are layered with sound effects and noises all supporting the main rhythm of the bassline.

violinbwoy’s debut full length album is nearly here. the 12-track lp entitled “dod” will be released in october by moonshine recordings.

we are extremely happy to welcome yet another talented crew from italy in the moonshine family. d-operation drop is a project born in 2010 thanks to the encounter of 5 university students wich found themselves sharing the same house and more importantly, love for music (in 2013 zeemo joins the crew, modifying the formation from 5 to 6 elements). after a couple of early collaborations, almost casual, uniradio cesena gives to d-operation drop the chance to lay the foundations of an underground music program on air twice a week. thanks to this experience the group officially finds its frame and looks forward to its new goals such as producing, djving and vj’ing. to date d-operation drop, after almost seven years of experience, has received support from artists like j:kenzo, distance, n-type, icicle, radikal guru & many others. releasing music with notable labels such as lion charge, artikal music uk, subaltern and now moonshine recordings.

we are extremely happy to welcome jerome meyer aka von d in the evergrowing moonshine recordings family. von d, is renowned for his ability to fill dance floors, fuse genres and hold his own in collaborations with some of the biggest names in the underground music. with three albums and multiple eps under his belt for labels such as black acre, boka or argon, he is also recognized for featuring exclusive and unreleased dub or dubstep tunes, alongside his own music. with regular shows in europe, asia, new zealand, australia and five tours in the usa, his world fan base is testament to his skill. von d is on an increasingly prolific trajectory since last year. recent 12’s on scrub a dub and khaliphonic (zamzam), and forthcoming tunes on lion charge and moonshine have signaled his renewed focus on dubwise productions. the french producer is going back to his musical roots. he continues to evolve his style and sound, touring around and setting clubs on fire night after night.
